INPA: Rail Pressure OBD? Crank no Start
Cranks but does not start!
Car = 2007 335i n54 sedan Car died while driving. For a while it sputtered while cranking, now it just cranks. If I throw in some starting fluid on the air filter it fires right up for about 1-2 seconds. I am trying to get readings of the railpressure using INPA. I just need to make sure I am doing this right before i buy new parts. To me it looks like I am not getting any pressure at the rail while cranking. My LPFP is loud and clear when it engages. https://photos.app.goo.gl/HNCAgzq8YoG7UCyH6 Heres a link to the photos Last edited by yulaw2k; 11-26-2019 at 08:03 PM.. |

INPA ScreenPrints (either jpg or png format) would be good if you have them. If you are using INPA, Read Fault Memory with Freeze Frame Data (Fehlerspeicher Lesen mit Freeze Frame) provides the MOST Detail and Data. With Screen showing data, press Shft+PrtSc, Paste that (Ctrl+V) to Paint or photo editor of choice; SaveAs jpg or png file in folder of choice, and attach that jpg/png to post here.
We can help with Translation, interpretation of Details & Definitions, and Next Steps. George |

Should do TEXT ONLY (NOT attachment) info & questions until "cleared" to post attachments. I suppose that is intended to prevent "alleged HR firms in India" from posting detailed ads -- YOU know who you are! (Inside joke, NOT directed at you as a new member). George |

If anyone comes across this same problem.
I took out my fuel pump in the back passanger seat and found one of the hoses disconnected. That's why I was not getting any pressure. |
