Rims fit over big brake kit?

Hello! I have purchased the Forge Big Brake kit (380mm- https://www.urotuning.com/) for my e90 and am thinking about installing these Enkei RPF1 18" (18x8.5) offset +40mm (https://www.tirerack.com/wheels/Whee...lar=Base+Model)

My question is will this brake kit fit inside the rims? Last thing i want to do is purchase the rims and find out they dont work.

thanks in advance for the help!

Forge's website says 380mm big brake kits require 19" wheels or larger.

I appreciate the heads up, not sure how i missed that detail (380mm). So i switched the order for their next biggest which is 356mm. Will this fit in the above rims?

Plenty of 18" that will clear 380mm brakes, including BMW factory wheels. However, they 18x8.5 +40mm offset won't. 18x9 or wider with offset +30mm and less

Design of the wheel is important too. Plenty of 19" won't find over 380mm brakes because of how spokes are.

Ok well maybe you can help- scrap the rims I mentioned above. What rims would you recommend for the 356mm kit from urotuning? My goal was as small of a rim upgrade as possible (so hoping 18"), and to shave off some weight from factory rims and no rubbing would be ideal.

I just re read your comment- are you saying my factory -17" will fit these new brakes? Or are you saying 18" bmw rims?

All Apex 17" would clear 356mm brakes. Most Apex 18" would clear 380mm brakes.

not to be a dick, but shouldn't you have contacted forge and asked about the details of fitment before you dropped two grand on brakes?

nah no problem its a smart question! lol. I just didnt think to ask about that being this is my first time upgrading brake systems.

Anyway, to give you guys an update I wanted to stay as close to stock size as possible and not change the suspension dynamics and have full lock to lock turn without hitting anything.

I went with Forge BBK 356mm kit and am going with Apex 17x9" ET30 APEX ARC-8 Wheel , and Anthracite in color.

Its not for everyone but itll work for me and after I sent Apex the spec sheet from Forge they confirmed it will fit.

So thank you all for your help!
