Error code, any idea's?

Hi all,

Very recently got error code CC-ID 132. Looking at previous posts this points to angel eye bulbs. Here's where it gets a bit complicated.

I bought some LCI angel eye halogen lights to replace my pre LCI non angel eye lights. I wired in some LED halo's into the headlight, swapped the pins around so they work as sidelights and never got round to programming them in to work as DRL's. This was 7 months ago and its been absolutely fine until the temperature dropped. Any idea's? All lights are working as they have been. Is this going to be a voltage issue? Any way around it?

Thanks

I would go back through and check all of your wiring changes you made.

Even though its been working for a long time and still is working? I had some condensation and left 1 of the rear covers off for a week to clear it, could this have caused it in the cold? Corrosion maybe?

As you probably know, CC-ID indicates bulb failure in Right-Front Side Light. I presume you have Bulb Fail warning light on instrument cluster?

Since you had nearly 7 months of NO Bulb Fail use since your wiring changes, and the "Bulb Fail" is ONLY on the Right Side, it seems more likely that you have a ground, wiring or Connector issue than an issue related to the LED installation 7 months ago.

Here is the TIS circuit diagram for Side Lights for models built BEFORE 8/2008:
