Could not code ASS memory with Bimmercode today
Got my Ethernet connection cranked up and ran the latest Bimmercode app to code my 2020 M550i today. Everything worked as expected, except that I could not code ASS memory. Kept getting an EC error. So - I coded the default mode to be Sport Individual. Done.
With an Ethernet cable connected to an iPhone XS Max, coding is FAST (compared to a Bluetooth adapter). Highly recommended. Just need some easy way to decode/recode/encode the adaptive headlights. Anyone seen Almaretto lately? I PM'd him a few days ago, but no reply. Searches of the forums seem to indicate that he hasn't posted in at least a week. I hope he's just out enjoying the holidays. Happy Festivus. Last edited by runbuh; 12-23-2019 at 05:41 PM.. |

You cannot have the vehicle running and you should be in diagnostic mode in the car. It's the only module that requires this in my experience.

He and I keep missing each other for what I want to do to mine. There are hundreds of parameters that have to be modified which will take entirely too long one by one in BimmerCode. |
