Depends on exactly what it is.

I just had my clearbra installed and they only cautioned my against using YELLOW colored wax as the tint in the wax may stain the plastic. Other than that, they said I could use whatever sealant or wax I wanted.

I would test a nonconspicuous area and go from there.

Sorry a bit OT....

Did you go with 3M material? The 3M installs I saw had a lot of orange peel. Are you happy with your install. Did you do a full wrap (meaning edges). Post some pics?

I got VentureShield. Install looks great. Basically no orange peel. You wouldn't know the film was on there unless you got right up next to it or felt it.

I am awaiting pics from Premier as I forgot my camera. They took some pics and are going to email them to me. I am going to do a write-up/review when I get them. But all in all, I am very pleased with the installation and product!

I did a full hood, front fender, and bumper wrap. Them I got mirrors, side skirts, rear wheel arches, and rear bumper top surface done. Looks good!

Any good dealers that install a 3M Clear Bra or similar in the Glendale/Pasadena/Burbank area?

Also, there's a company called Adam's Polishes and they make a polish and spray to maintain a clear bra.

Premier sent to me some products to maintain the bra a few days ago. My detailer applied it to my CGT and M3 and it feels as smooth as the paint. There's some info on their website regarding their product - www.premiermobilegroup.com

JetSeal109 SHOULD be used on your clear bra. It was formulated to bond to the plastics that the clear bra uses, so yes, please go ahead and apply.

I bought that Crystalline stuff from Premier. It sounds like it will work great. What are you using on the unconvered portion of the car? I didn't want to mix and match with another wax/sealant like Klasse or Zaino. According to Premier, you can use that Crystalline stuff even on the uncovered parts of the car.

I was told to stay away from plexus because it yellows the bra. Tried the film cleaner and their cristalline and noticed it makes the bra pretty smooth. I tried it on the paint and it works petty well.
