The V8's they use now just sound like noise to me. I like the noise of that 312b in the Ferrari-Shell advert.

Yep, that and technology has improved to where the V8s make the car plenty fast.

you cant´T compare V12 sound at higher rev per min and a V8 in box. your right it´s not the same as in the past. but a v8 in high speed is also very impressive

Love them both! Maybe V12 a bit better, but the sound recording can easily make up for that difference.
