How about an M3 sighting thread?
I'll start.... lunch time today... SSII E92 coupe going eastbound on Rye Canyon Road in Valencia... might be mgcmtndan... wasn't in my M3.. riding with someone to lunch... Cheers....

I saw an alpine white E90 in an encounter I'd rather forget. I was hit in the rear quarter by one while stopped at a light. All I heard was the unmistakable click/grind/soft chirp of ABS, then the heart crushing sound of plastic and metal meeting in a most unsightly manner. This dipshit must have doubled back to catch up with me as I slowly made my way through midday traffic on heavily patrolled town roads. I am only assuming this because he seemed like such a loser, and even after he tagged me, all he could talk about was how great the M3s are and blah blah blah. If finally said 'dude, I hate to rain on your parade, but I'm calling a roller to document your fine driving.' He freaks out and starts in with this rhetoric about M3 owners are brothers, we can trust one another to settle these things, wah wah wah. I am in no mood to countenance this idiot, so I turn away politely, and start figuring how to summons a local police officer to document this absurdity so my insurance company will recognize the fault. As I am tapping away at my phone (911? No. 411? What fucking township am I in?), the cretin falls to the ground and starts begging at my feet not to call. BEGGING! I'm like, is this cat serious? I slowly try to move away, and the guy grabs my leg and starts pulling it. Just like I'm pulling your's.
Sorry. Had to do it. Anyone recall Tom Waits' 'Missing My Son'? Classic. That, and 'What's He Building?'. If a thread seems, um, in need, we have a duty to make it, well, relevant. |
