Wheel cleaning/ceramic pads?

Just cleaned my X3Mc for the first time today. After 600 miles, the wheels were disgusting. What do people use for wheel cleaner? I used Griot's heavy duty stuff. Also, are there ceramic or other low-dust options for our cars?

I get the idea of some brake dust from high-performance brakes, but this seems nuts.

Wheel wax makes a world of difference. The dust comes off with rain or hose water. I'm sure ceramic coating does the same.

Unfortunately, no ceramic pads for X3M. I've had them for all my previous rides and am going crazy with the heavy brake dust accumulation

Agreed. I’m waiting for a low dust pad myself.

Hopefully one is released.

Are the front calipers the same as other M cars. If so, EBC makes their red stuff pads that work well. They are not NO dust, but certainly a lot lower than OEM pads. They work great on my M4.

As to wheel cleaners, I got some Griot's heavy-duty wheel cleaner, and that did a superb job.
