E25/E30 users. Please post your gains here.
I just mixed E25 for my Turbo S. It has a knock sensor for every cylinder and is EXTREMELY sensitive to any perceived knock. You can log degrees per cylinder.
I always had some trace numbers on 0 - 130mph runs. The E25 blend eliminates it. It’s only worth 1.0-1.5 octane, so it must be a cylinder cooling effect of Ethanol on DI. What have you seen ? |

From FloridaM5
I run e30ish all of the time. Last track rental I ran that blend for the first half of the day, and then added sunoco gt 260 plus....tank was close to empty prior to adding. Made no difference in performance at all. Day was hot, and car was heat soaked, so may have seen a difference if I had run the race fuel at first. I have two e30 tunes (bm3 ots and a strong e30 file from evolve). The evolve tune is much stronger than the bm3 one....dropped over 2/10s in the quarter mile and picked up over 2mph, so it def makes more power, and you can feel it throughout the power band. Add the jb4 on top of the evolve file and I run 10.3 at 135-136...and that was in 90ish degree weather. I also run the awe intakes and primary catless pipes....ER as well. |

Map2 is now 22-23psi , once you add E85 to any Flash it will improve. His flash w. jb4 is around 25psi (thats what map3) does so very aggressive for only 93 fuel and higher ambient in my opinion. Would be nice to see a jb4 or BM3 log on all those runs when he re-runs with same fuel. With BM3 its able to capture knock although some tunes do increase knock sensors (which is not good long run)

I'll try to send some logs ...
But, logging w BM3 is kinda a pain. JB4 much easier. To log while driving, IMHO. But I have found that I cannot log w JB4 when I have my BM3/HCP flash loaded. I think it changes something, which doesn't allow the JB4 to operate properly. |

Updated for DMe e30 map:
Stock w downpipes: 7.94 93 octane (full tank) Jb4 map 1 w downpipes: 7.45 93 octane (full tank) jB4 Map 2 w downpipes: 7.33 93 octane (full tank) Jb4 map 2 w downpipeS: 6.99 3/4 tank 93 + 2.1 gallon e85 (5psi above stock) hCP stage 2 93 octane - 7.24 (hot day) Evolve Stage 2 93 octane - 6.86 DMe stage 2 93 octane - 6.74 DME stage 2 w jb4 - 6.4 (half tank 93 + 2 gallon e85) DME Stage 2 E30 - 6.16 (half tank of an e35ish fuel, had wheel spin at lower end ) Here's is a log of last run . I think it has a high 5 in it with better quality e30 and no wheel spin |

Brother I'm too old and wise to do high speed runs over any crossover or bridge. I've been there done that a long time ago and it's not pretty I've only been able to do 3 runs on this tune. The rain has sucked the last week and its pouring again today

The car feels real strong now. I'm fortunate to have good fuel near me. Even 0-60 launch wasn't the best. the DA on my 60-130 run was also high so the car might have a little more in it. |
