I Got Hit!

Well it was bound to happen. Long story short. I was travelling down Route 1 and while stopped at a red light some dude rear ended me. Very minor damage, just a little ding and puncture from the guys license plate screws. Anyways the dude was stopped along with me and then must have let go of his brakes because a minute after we were stopped I heard and felt a thump. I looked back and got out of the car and guess what the guys SUV was almost touching my bumper. So I told him to reverse his truck and we got out and he was trying to play it off like it was nothing. Well luck was on my side because a trooper came up right then and I got a police report and now I gotta get my bumper fixed. Its only a little scratch something that would happen eventually but I didnt think it was going to happen this way. Anyways has anyone been to mile one collision works? tischer bmw reccommended them. Im looking for other places too that might be good and fast. Thanks for all the help guys and sorry for the rant.

Sorry to hear that. Of course the guy tried to play it off, your car was probably 2x the price of his. I am surprised he didnt try to blame it on the sun or the moon or something else.

i saw his wife leaning to the back seat to give some food to their kids and then i turned my eyes back to the front afterwhich he hit me. Im betting he turned around to his kids too and that caused him to lift off the brake.

Take it to Wagonworks on Rt 1 in Alexandria VA. They are right across from Potomac Yards Theatres and do nothing but European cars...audi's and lots of BMW and a few VW's too. Very good work. Worked on my e46 325 and e46 M3 before! Ask for Doug if he is still there!

Passport BMW in Md used to use Colorcrafters which is in Clinton right across from Andrews AFB, MD. They do alot of BMW's too and do pretty good work also but I'd go to Wagonworks with my BMW 1st
Sorry to hear...good luck!

No big deal...should be an easy fix. That sucks when people do that to you. Ive been rear ended three times by careless people at stoplights.
