Very cool to see you cracking 3.6.

Saw you’ve owned an e55. I had an ‘07 e63. Great cars.

How do you like the m550i so far? I’m in the market and have toyed with a ‘20 m550i and an M5. Not sure I want to trade the comfort of the m550i for the M5 though.

Your thoughts? Do you miss the 911 cab or nah? It’s also on the short list.

Great results... if you want to compare to BMW published numbers (which is 3.6 for 2020 model) you should use 0-60 with 1ft rollout... I think u will be closer to 3.45 based on your "pure" 0-60

As promised 1/4mi Dragy from early this a.m.,-DA is the reason for the good ET but as it sits, in summer weather should be a consistent 11.8 car stock

Yeah, miss my AMG's...but the M550 out hustles em by a fair margin in a straight line stock for stock.

Haven't driven the '20 M5 but it certainly is a bad ass sedan. I chose the M550 for the "sleeper" aspect and how it fly's under the radar so to speak. If you like to drive briskly through the mountains the M550 will leave you underwhelmed;however as a daily and a comfy car for taking the wife/kids out to dinner its perfect.

The C4S Cab was a gorgeous car,was mainly my wife's daily as I had the E55 at the time. Something about a 'verts and middle aged men just doesn't sit well w me so I only drive it with the top up and rode shotgun while my wife had the top down lol. I'm sure if it was a Turbo S I would have felt differently...

Is that a parameter that can be set on the Dragy? FYI for the 11.46 run above the 0-60 was 3.42 but came up as invalid w a 1.72% slope even though the 1/4mi run was not. Maybe a slight dip in the road that I couldn't see at the start, who knows.

This is awesome thanks for posting. Definitely favorable DA however. Checked my 2019 dinan elite V2 m550i w dragy 0-60 of 3.77 but with a 3669 ft DA. Still think ultimately the 2020+ is a hair faster than a dinan 2018/2019

I think you are correct about you assumption in reference to invalid 0-60 and valid 1/4mile...
0-60 with 1ft rollout should be automatically there as it is in pre-sets... attached are my runs from last year at the track... 2018 m550 with RC GTS Black and lighter forges 699m wheels... With better DA I should be able to do 11.5-11.6

You can do that or better with stock 2020... that is awesome... that 75 HP and Tq pump is definitely noticeable... now if you put in RC tune, you will be very close to the output and times of stock M5... 2020 m550 with dynamic handling package is the optimal financial options as well as a daily driver.

Attached is the invalid 0-60 from the above 1/4mi run(disregard the timestamp as its a screenshot from my phone). I was on that same stretch of Mexican highway (going the opposite way on the other side of the highway) later that day and did notice the very slightest of a hump. Had I started the run 20yds further from where I did the road was completely flat more or less.

I'm fighting myself with getting basic stg1 tune. On one hand,I can't leave anything stock for long&would love the extra power...on the other hand,I'm weary I'll have issues with reliability and regret doing it. I'm at the point in my life where I just wanna put gas in the car and drive;don't wanna deal with check engine lights,limp-mode,etc.
Uggggh decisions!!

121 MPH trap speed….wow that’s solid! Can’t wait to start seeing more and more numbers once people get the fix. I wish at some point it would be OTA, I have absolutely no time to wait around at the dealer while they do it.

That's the magic number for standing starts in my experience. Warm enough for traction on summer tyres and cool enough for great turbo IAT's
