Am I worrying too much? Advice please.

I stuck a can of San Miguel in the freezer and forgot about it so it’s frozen solid now, I’ve put it in the fridge as I thought a slow defrost might be the best course of action now I’m thinking it might explode during the night.

The problem here is it might contaminate my other booze in there and I don’t want to waste a tin of beer, would it be better outside?

Try the defrost setting on the microwave, best to get the explosion out of the way before you go to bed.

Cut the ends off it with a hacksaw, then drive a 6" nail into one end, then push the entire 'beer' out of the tin.

San Miguel lolly.

Ah, San Miguel. La mejor cerveza del mundo desde 1890, brewed and canned in Northampton.

Chuck it in the bin and get some Leffe Blonde from Sainsbury's.

If this isn't the definition of "First World Problem" then I don't know what is.

I love a San Miguel, thats always my goto beer.

However, for the interests of science I will source some Leffe Blonde to what all the fuss is about.

I will report back on my findings.

Compelling logic.
Can it also be served by the blue lady from the Covid humour thread?

But I did used to work for two breweries, one famed for still using wooden barrels in the process, and the other which bought Sharps of Cornwall (including Doom Bar) when I worked there....

Much more my thing.

Defrosted beer has a strange aftertaste. But as this is San Miguel shite, which has a shit aftertaste (and first taste) anyway, it probably won't make much difference!

I can't believe anyone still drinks any of those nasty mass produced lagers!

All the amazing pale ales around now have ruined me for a normal lager or pilsener. Never buy them any more.

Don’t really drink lager anyways, I bought 2 slabs for the roofer who fixed a tile a couple of weeks back and didn’t want anything for it, I got a bit tight and gave him one

I don’t mind the odd cold one but prefer cask especially in the winter.

Rioja and Malbec is where it’s at for me, I have a nice little stock in my cellar!

I've been buying some very nice beers for my beer fridge recently, as the pubs are shut:

My brother in laws bar stocks a lot of that, it’s nice to try a couple when I pop over but I always end up on cocktails then wine.

I do drink my fair share of gin based cocktails too, mainly just in summer though.
