Anyone use a screen protector for their smart/Apple watch?
Have an Apple Watch on order, it's the aluminium one with the more scratch prone screen apparently.
I was trying to find a screen protector last night, gave up in the end, the reviews I found only listed products available in the US, and amazon and elsewhere were stuffed with clearly fake 5* reviews for questionable Chinese brands you'd never heard of. Anyone actually tried one they could recommend? Cheers Last edited by SantaEugence; 05-07-2020 at 04:04 AM.. |

I did look at them a while back for my watch, but the coverage wasn't great.
Bought one of these instead https://www.amazon.co.uk/Spigen-Rugg...8845096&sr=8-5 The screen itself remains unprotected, but never had any issues |

I did at first but they don't stay stuck at the corners, and they detracted from the usability and aesthetics, and it's only a £500 watch that will likely be obsolete in a couple of years so I don't bother anymore.

I’ve got a black plastic bumper around the sides and a screen protector. I had a laminate screen protector on first but was awful so have the replaceable kind on now.

Never used a screen protector on my Apple Watch either. Don't see the point of needing it when it's generally pretty firmly attached to your wrist.

I have one of these on mine.
https://www.amazon.co.uk/Spigen-Prem...8866165&sr=8-7 Suits my OCD.... (I have one on my work phone and on my personal iPhone - I also have a protector on the phone camera lens to avoid it getting scratched because I'm a moron). |

I've been wearing a Samsung S2 classic for 5 years now without a screen protector and whilst I have dropped it several times I've only managed to add a small scratch when walking into the edge of a table.

Had many screen protectors having quite a labouring job. They're all naff and peal at the corners as others have said. I was using one a week. Gave up in the end and been very impressed on how durable the screen is. Hardly a mark on it and it's gets some abuse really.
I always wash it every night though, keeps it fresh. |

I've got this Spigen case for it I use if I go swimming, should have had it on when I dropped my AW4 on the bathroom floor as it protrudes beyond the screen :

Got one of these for a series 5.Completely covers the front and sides, but has the cut out in the rear for the sensor.Hardly noticeable and offers decent protection from knocks. |

Interesting. I still use my G-Shock for swimming and watersports (not at the moment obviously) because the Apple watch feels a bit vulnerable. Is that case easy to get on and off?
