Best way to get a cassette on to a digital format?
Been having a clear out today and came across a cassette for a singer songwriter that performed in Vilamoura in the 90s when I first met my wife, good times.
The guy was fairly local to us and we found out recently he had died at only 39 a few years ago, there’s a tribute page for him on Facebook and I’d like to get a copy of it over to his brother. What do I need to get it on to a digital format? Cheers |

You have got me feeling nostalgic thinking of cassettes back in the day. I can remember playing this album over and over again on my Sony Walkman!

If you've got a tape player with a line-level output (eg hifi cassette deck) and a sound card with a line-level input, you're good to go. Otherwise a gadget off Amazon might do it. The main thing really is decent software, as recording from tape will always be a bit hissy. Let us know if you get stuck.
