Was bored today and tried to do HDR again

So I was just looking through some old photos I took throughout the year (and some other members of the board) and attempted some more HDR. Not sure if they're any good, but hope you guys like them.

p.s. I did do more but was afraid to post them cuz i thought they weren't so good. But if you do like them, feel free to request

HDR's are done best during the day, or when there is a lot of light. HDR = High Dynamic Range... so when you shoot at night, there isn't a lot of range to begin with, so the pictures will look worse than if you just do a longer normal exposure.

Yeah it just so happens that i took most of my photos during the night. But anyways, I found a image that seemed to have the most lighting out of my collection and played around a bit more. Anymore tips would be greatly appreciated.

I hate to say it, but your original actually looks better. Do you have a digital camera that shoots RAW? If so.. adjust the blacks/exposure/temperature in RAW settings when you first open them in Photoshop, it will do LOADS more than try to do an HDR photo.

Focus on getting the best exposure out of the car as possible when shooting, then in post you can adjust the background via Dodging/Burning and/or RAW settings.

aim:drboboh if you have more questions.

My feeble attempts at HDR. Only using one picture though. No three step pictures or anything like that.

I don't know ... I think this photoshoot was pretty freakin awesome at night. I think it has more to do with how you post edit the photos and how you pick your location ...
