Chrome trim
Does anyone know how i could get the chrome trimming around the windows for my 325? how it looks on the 330 - i take it its not part of any package. how much does it cost - can it be easily self installed?

You can get the parts from your dealer. DIY is quite easy, the hardest trim to install appears to be for the front doors, where you have to detach the top part of your interior door panel to loosen the side view mirror housing. For more information, check with e90poster bavarian19 (his DIY btw is on the DIY section). For part numbers and prices, just do a search...its been discussed before in some details. But from what I gathered it should cost you somewhere in 400-600 bucks in parts. Best to locate a 330 owner who'll trade with you...

Check my signature for the DIY... Read it thoroughly before you do a trim swap with a 330i owner or purchase your parts...
I was lucky and did not pay a single cent for mine |

just a thought, instead of chrome for your black car, what about blacking it out?
personally, i think it would look a lot better than to chrome your car since your car is black. I don't know your preference though, so.. Quote:

ive got a jet black 325 with the original black trim, and i think it looks 100 times better, i would seriously consider changing the chrome, i mean, if you deal drugs then go ahead chrome should look really nice but keep it the way it is
