Today is the day!!

Anyone else got it?

I've been waiting 7 years for it, and it didn't seem like it was ever going to happen, but as soon as the PS4 Pro TLOU2 version was available on Amazon I preordered it! It arrived today, i've been working like a maniac, now cooking a BBQ, then just need to wait for the missus (as Dominic Raab would say) to go to bed and then it's on!

For those who don't understand, it's more than just a video game, I don't even play them anymore really, but this game is just incredible.

I'm a pc gamer for the most part but the last of us is something I've always wanted to have a go at. Might wait for the ps5 now and then give it a go.

Be interested in your thoughts about it though.

It really is more than a game, more like playing a part in a blockbuster Hollywood film, the story, acting, production values etc. are so good!

Well that was the first one, which I bought a PS3 just to play it, then a year or so later I bought a PS4 just to play the remastered version, and now I've bought a PS4 Pro just to play part 2!

Naughty Dog obviously got paid a huge sum of money from Sony to keep it exclusive. Not surprising really, it made me buy a PS4 Pro a few months before the PS5 is released!

Totally (totally!) different game from the older ones. Santa Monica Studios ripped it up and started again but it really worked well. One to look forward to.

DPD delivered today. Well yesterday now! Not many games get me excited now am I my in my very late 30’s (42)

Turned it on to have a quick go. 3 hour later it’s 2am and I have to be up at 5am with the 1 year old!! Oh dear.

Omg it’s soooooo good! No chance of playing it when the two wee ones are up.

Brings back the memories of the first masterpiece. I bought it for for the ps3 and PS4 which IIRC correct completed it on the second hardest level. 2-3 times!

Can’t wait to play tomorrow night again.

Shame it’s Sony only as I have a new Xbox one x sitting there. Oh well ps5 incoming to play in enhanced mode! (And the new spiderman game

) consoles are just x86-64 pcs now anyway

Whats the basic story line?

Well the opening scene in the first game drives the emotional roller coaster

It's about an outbreak of a virus (that infects and creates zombies) which is real in ants (Cordyceps funny enough that takes over the host)

It's within the first five minutes with normal life it all kicks off the emotional storyline begins harrowing and amazing how it develops. Sometimes the humans gangs and factions are worse than the infected.

The way the characters develop and how you you feel for them just gripped me the ending is just so though provoking and you understand why with what joel and Ellie go through. And the cracking controls how you can creep up or go in guns blazing up to you. You have to save every last bullet or weapon or even craft them.

Can't rate it highly enough!
