Are there any dealers out there worth working with
Just a small rant, but I’m in the market for an m340i at the moment and did a check on quotes via car wow. One dealer offered a decent enough price (they were located in Hampshire.)
I asked the salesman for an email address and duly get one back with some prices and the ‘let’s work a deal out’ I pinged him an email back asking him to work some figures out then based on my part ex and get back to me....nothing. Eventually I chased them, nothing again. Honestly, no wonder consumers use brokers. Dealers do themselves no favours at all. Unless you buy on the first day they just can’t be arsed. I asked my local dealer if they had a 340 available for a test drive...no they replied, but we could give you a test drive in another model ...”no, that is why I want to buy a 340, not a 320” Has anyone got any recommendations of anyone actually worth dealing with?? |

How fussy are you on spec? prepared to take a stock car? if so send a generic email to a few dealers with what you want and what you expect to pay (to buy) and your part ex and what you think its worth.... those that want a sale will then bite quickly, and stock cars give them chance of early commission...

Mark Marsland at Halliwell Jones Wilmslow is great to deal with, lovely bloke who is totally straightforward. Came very close to putting a X7 on the drive and I'd give him a call without hesitation next time that I'm thinking of a BMW.

Thanks guys. I know it’s a first world problem, but it’s bloody frustrating for what is a huge purchase and it’d just be refreshing to deal with someone who is actually willing to not exactly go the extra mile, but simply just to their job.
