What percentage will the car charge the battery?

Relating to amp hours, does the car ever charge a battery to 100% or is it like 80%? Does anyone know for sure?

I ask bc i have a 100AH battery, and if i know the car only charges to 80% i would probably change my AH to 110 vs 90 like it is now.

Any help is appreciated.

Tends to keep it around 80% in my experience.

So if i coded the car for 110AH I’d have my 100AH at 90% vs at 90AH having my 100ah at 70%.

I think I’d prefer then 90%

Do u think there would be any issues w doing that?

Errr no! You'd end up overcharging a lower capacity battery and it could gas/cause fire from overheating or simply die a short and sudden death.

If you have access to a power source your best bet is using a battery tender such as CTEK to keep your battery as close to 100 % as you can.
