2017 G30 Apple CarPlay Fullscreen

As you all know or most of you at least that Apple CarPlay is not fullscreen, especially on older models. You can get a patch for few bucks and get full screen but people who are on older versions of NBT EVO, they will first have to update to a little newer version and then get the patch.

This is my experience and I have nothing but great things to say about guys working at FSCMap.com.

I was on version M so we brought me current to version V and then patched to full screen carplay. I have iPhone and it's jailbroken, someone made a tweak to mirror iPhone on to apple carplay and this whole thing turned out so well!

It is super affordable. $100 to update me to current version of NBT and another $70 for the patch, I doubt if you can beat this price somewhere else and I didn't even find another spot but reach out to these guys and you won't regret!

Whole process took about 1.5-2hrs and car was hooked up to a battery charger.

Mine update to the newest version + Full Screen patch was done by kubax86 and the price was even better. Highly recommend it to anyone considering getting it done.

Newbie here, sorry if question has already been asked

Is there anyone in Reading,UK that does Full screen Carplay activation?

My Idrive unit says my version is NBTevo_Q18491l - Can I get full screen carplay enabled? I have been told that I will need a wifi Ariel too.

You're on version Q so you just need a patch. Reach out to the guy who is tagged in above comment by another member or the site I mentioned. Patch is pretty cheap either way and that's something you can do yourself. Follow instructions on their website, do what they need to get your bin file and then they will send you a patched file that you will instal yourself using a USB.

Q version can't be done using USB STICK. That needs ENET cable.

I was so far behind on mine that instructions earlier seems to have portrayed as if anything after could be done through USB stick but yes you are correct.

Just did Carplay activation and fullscreen on my G31 with iD6 and NBTevo_X with Bimmer-Remote. I already had an ENET cable and the link to the app and activation code was delivered to my email within 15 minutes. It was all self install...followed the instructions with laptop connected to ENET cable and the whole process took 2 minutes.

Response to messages for my initial questions were instant via Facebook Messenger too.

So very happy with the result. Well worth it and would recommend.

Anyone know how easy / hard it would be to make my CarPlay full screen?? Not sure if I have given the right information there or not.
