Tablet for gauge display
Hi ya'll, I did some reading, and now I'm more confused than before i started lol. Basically I'm looking to run a android tablet as a head unit, but mostly want to display gauges with my OBDlink mx and OBDlink app. Getting audio streaming apps to work straight to the radio and bypassing the AUX in jack would be awesome. My current setup is stock:
What parts do I need to buy to make this work. I found the Grom BMWTU3, and the A2DP box from ebay https://www.ebay.com/itm/123783948264 Will either of these work. Why does the Grom box not have to connect to MOST, but the ebay one does? I am comfortable doing coding. And what app would you suggest for the tablet to run it all? Thanks! |
