RiXeffects Digital Boost Gauge / Map Switch - JB3 map switching in action! (video)

PATENT PENDING!

I wanted to show off the Map Switcher section of my boost gauge, so that everyone can see

As you all know, the JuiceBox 3 holds 4 maps, 3 of which are currently activated with the tiny 22 dollar physical map switch.

I have developed in my boost gauge the ability to control the jb3 to select all 4 maps.

In my gauges, I call this section *Boost Control* or bc for short... since your are basically controlling your boost maps.

Map 1 (bc.1) = Low Boost (12.5 psi)
Map 2 (bc.2) = High Boost (15psi)
Map 3 (bc.3) = Stock (8psi)
Map 4 (bc.4) = Race Gas! (under development)

To access the boost control menu, you just use the PEAK RECALL button.
HOLD DOWN the peak recall button for 1 second, and you will enter the boost control menu. Tap the button to select 1 through 4 and then when you stop on a selection for more than 3 seconds, it defaults back to boost gauge mode, and selects the map! Thats it, you can even do it while the car is running, and your map is selected instantly! This map is also flashed back to you when you start the car, and the map is saved, so every time you start the car, you are running whatever map you have selected!

As always, visit www.rixeffects.com for more info.

See the video to see it in action!

In this video I start the car, enter the boost control menu, switch to a different map, rev the engine, and then restart the car so you can see how the map is stored instantly (restart not required). Then I press the peak recall button to recall the max boost of 0.0 psi

For those of you that will ask "why is there no boost showing" well, its because I am in my garage, revving my engine... so all you get is manifold vacuum... if you want boost, you gotta put load on the engine!

Damm, that's nice. The led status bar has no delay whatsoever and it's at all distracting. Looks awesome.

Yes, all of them have it... including everyone that already ordered before I even announced the boost switcher... they get a "free bonus"

Dam i need to get one of these asap...Was shopping for a boost gauge.

Is the install and uninstall be easy compare to the JB3 pin out? Or would it be ok to bring it to dealer with the gauge on and off course JB3 uninstalled..
Also is the map switch not needed if this is installed?

THanks

This replaces the 22 dollar physical map switch. It has a plug that fits right into the jb3 mapswitch connector, so its super easy!

Is it possible to have another "free bonus" ?
I don't need (want) the aditionnal cable through the whole car into the ECU Box.
