Power under Sunglass/Oddments Tray for Induktiv Charger

Good afternoon, I just bought the Induktiv charging unit from ECS(https://www.ecstuning.com/b-induktiv...idkbmwe9x~ikv/). My car has the tray in place, so all I'm expecting is the pad. Here's my question: underneath the tray how will the power connection present? I.e. since I don't have the cigarette lighter or anything else drawing power, is the connection just sitting there waiting for me to plug in or is splicing/surgery going to be necessary?

Well as feared, it's not as simple as I hoped. Every time I've seen this product advertised or discussed it's been in the M3s which all (seem) to come with the smokers package - i.e. the covered bin with the ashtray and cigarette lighter. This means they already have power.

Attached are some pictures of what I found when I pulled up my trim and what came with the pad.

Can anyone help me out here? A DIY, a video, some kind of guidance on where I'm supposed to connect for power? TIA.

That sucks the outlet is not there.

Good news is it is pretty simple to get power from the fuse box by using a fuse tap and bringing it to the center console.

Something like this.

Two torx T20 screws under glove box. Snake wire right under the side of the center console trim. Find somewhere to ground (maybe near fuse box there is common ground)

Thanks for the tip. It's an LCI car so I have a lighter under the glovebox. I'm going to try tapping that based on some instructions from the supplier. I'll report back.
