yes you just need to add one wire is really easy, I did not have the premium pack neither.

when you remove your mirror you will see that it has two cables one red and one brown ( this cables are for the clown nose of the mirror) what you need to do is add one more cable under the red cable pin and connect it to a power source the DIY of the V1 hardwire shows were is a power source http://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=97545 it works perfect

is really easy if you have problems installing it I'm here to help

Can you or anyone confirm whether or not this mirror would fit in an E92? The back of the mirror looks a little bit different then the one in my E92. How does this mount on? Also, does the digital compass work, even without the premium package? I'm interested.... You can put me down as pending.

this mirror it only has the autodim feature. no compass or door opener.

is the standard in all BMW the thing is you don't see it because of the cover that goes behind it
