I was offered $500 off MSRP for a G8x or 10% off an F90 from the same dealer in the same breathe. In not so many words, they basically said they're not looking to deal on an order until they at least have some unsd cars in inventory.

I'm hoping I'd be able to get more when I order after they release AWD pricing. But I'm not expecting much more than $500-$1000 off MSRP and $500 loyalty credit if that's going to be available.

Unfortunately, in the New York City area people are willing to pay through the nose to have something "1st. "
I was able to get my dealers first allocation at sticker less the $500 loyalty credit. They got $3500 above MSRP on their HEA allocation and only did a deal at sticker for me because I am a good customer. They left $1,500 on the table selling me the car.

we dont know how many allocations we will get yet and also stores know people who want the first ones will pay more to have them right away. This is the same formula for almost every M car launch. Pay to play at the beginning then in time it levels out and thats when you can get the deals. The programming though on the M3/4 is not very strong so def will hope that gets better in time bc those payments are going to be a little higher at first no doubt

it really all depends on allocations. If you look at the M2s they rarely have any sort of good programing out and the allocations are not as strong so they were pretty high for a while till they started to level out. The M3/4s seem to usually be a more produced M which yields more allocations so I would guess after about 3 months the initial rush would start to die off once allocations start to become a little more consistent.
if we dont know how many we will get then we can't really project any sort of trends if that make sense. If we get 1 every 2 months for example or one a month dealers are not just going to give them away. ITs the old supply and demand My guess would be 3-4 months and then come winter time you would see things for sure taper down, that is given allocations start to ramp up.

Some of you seem new or not practicing common sense. Why would a dealership give you guys thousands off of brand new generation M3 or M4? MSRP without markup considered that a deal to be the first play.

I have few allocations at dealers in NJ/NY for 2.5% off...t'was like pulling teeth from them to give these up with any markup SMH
Some of the others want 3k above sticker which is "the going rate" Probably right |
