Did you order the M Carbon bucket seats?

Those of you who have ordered a car, did you order with these seats? And were you able to sit in them first?

I'm having a hard time deciding.

I think most, actually almost all, of us who ordered them just based the decision on pictures. Only a few have been able to see them in person to test them out. Such as this guy:

Just find photos or videos of the seats in the leather color of choice and put them side by side. That’s what I did and it made my decision to purchase the CFB easier.

You can read my driving impression in the general forum, I had the luck to test them.

They are awesome and I ordered it!
There are a few negative points though:

- Ingress/Egress is a pain in the a**
- Leather can wear quiet fast if you are not careful enough on ingress/egress
- Price

But for me they are a no brainer. It's an M3 I will take care like hell anyway.

Go for the Carbon seats & retrofit the new bucket style rear seat from the M5CS.
Then you will have something very cool & individual, unless the M3CS comes that way of course...

I’m not ordering them. I love comfy seats in a fast car. Best of both worlds.

Regular seats for me. The CF ones look cool and all, but for a 100% DD car I don't need the cost or added hassle of getting in and out and whatever wear that will out on the leather and side bolsters.

For sure, I had a Porsche with carbon bucket seats that had the same side had all you had to climb over. It’s much more cumbersome than you would think in person. I won hundred percent agree that once you were in the seat it is super comfortable- which would be great if you never had to get in and out of them

I want both. CFBs for showing off at car shows, track days, and group drives but standard seats for 98% of the time. I wonder what it costs to buy normal seats as parts and how difficult it would be to swap back and forth.

Regular seats. Had the competition seats in my last one and they were not terribly comfortable (or easy to get in and out of). I think the CF ones are nice looking and a bit better than the last version, but for every day driving I prefer more comfort.
