Yikes, last day to change color :help:

I am having the hardest time with the color and I only have one more day to finalize before production. Help me?!?

SOOO I had an F82 M4 in Mineral Grey, loved the color. Dravit Grey was my first selection, with the 826m wheels in bi-color. After seeing so many pictures I am worried I won't like the gold undertones.

Portimao Blue with 826m wheels in black, I loved Estoril Blue on my e36 and this currently is where I am leaning. It's a bit bolder, I am on the fence because I typically prefer a classy, sporty look. BMW blues can pull this off but does attract more attention. This is ok, but then I saw...

Some good Brooklyn Grey pictures both with either 825m grey and/or the 826m black wheels...these started to make me wonder even more..

What do I do... Dravit Grey, Brooklyn Grey, or Portimao Blue?!?

I have a grey F80 now, going for a Dravit G83. Not sure this helps, but my local dealer had a Dravit 440i and I took a few pics.

A side profile, and it parked next to my F80

Like you, I spent the last month doing back and forth color thoughts.

I ended up going to my first choice.

I like Dravit on the M340i (it works with cerium grey trim IMO) but I feel like it's going to be awkward on the G8X. Brooklyn is nice but a bit dull IMO. So for your choices I would choose Portimao which is a beautiful color but slightly showy. As an alternative, Tanzanite blue is really beautiful, particularly in the light, and much less showy.

I think I'm going with Portimao Blue on the G80, but I'm waiting to see Brooklyn Grey in person before deciding.

If you're coming from a Mineral Grey F8x I would not go with Dravit Grey. If you like a light primer look grey go for Brooklyn Grey. There are several photos and a couple of videos around that show it. My issue with Brooklyn Grey is that it looks too plain and light. If you'd like some change go for Portimao Blue. It screams BMW in my opinion and I don't see it as a loud color that would attract negative attention.

I'm getting my G80 in Dravit Grey and will post pics if I get my car before step 150 goes into effect for you. It will have the 826M bi-color wheels and the exterior carbon package

tbh I don't like the greys at all. But this is a personal preference...I do like Hockenheim Silver or Glaciersilver though.

I just thing Dravit is more of a "luxurious" color and is not made for a sports car...my opinion.
Brooklyn is lit as it shows the lines.

If I were you, with this choices, I would go straight for PB.
In fact I also lean more and more to PB, who the heck cares that is a "normal" 3 and 4 series color.
It looks delicious on the M.

So I slept on this after looking for as many pictures as I could. I came across a number of Brookyln Grey M4s (I believe they all are) that really has me feeling good about going that direction. It's a unique color in that it does have some hues of blue at time, and IMHO, the black and carbon really pop.

I am attaching for others to see the pictures that I found, which haven't been posted on here yet...

Don't want to mess up your thoughts again but it appears some of those photos you posted are NOT Brooklyn Grey!

At least one is photoshopped (the 1st pic is actually SPY from the launch, see the same license plate / tag):

I'm also not sure about the couple of pics of the car at ///M Town.

Here are some good & clear pics & videos of Brooklyn Grey in all kinds of conditions. I'm also using those to better understand this color so thought I'd share in case there are some that you have not seen yet

Very nice build, congratulations

If I decide to go with Brooklyn Grey (G80 M3 for me) I'll go with Kyalami Orange interior and maybe the 825M wheels in Orbit Grey. Otherwise the packages/options you selected are very close to what I would pick Carbon Fiber exterior is a must have for me on Brooklyn Grey

The problem with so many BMW colors (or maybe all car colors) is that they usually seem to look so different in the BMW pics on either the main website or the individualizer website than they do in person.

Compare these 2 pics of Fire Orange for instance. Drastically different. Muted orange vs ON FIRE Orange. Pics get processed, etc so it's hard to know what you're getting unless you get a chance to go see it in person. It's the same with the greys for me. I have trouble telling if they are going to look like a light grey or a shimmery silver. That lighter one in the pics looks great with the dark accents! It almost looks like a "dark white" sort of like that chalk colored one floating around here somewhere.

Congrats on the order though! Looking forward to seeing it.
