This is the Futura edition... there was a limited amount of them released.

It looks less ugly in real life as I've seen one but not sure what they were thinking.

I'm sorry, but that is one ugly car. And I think the M2 is just perfect generally. The crappy "art" is more like bad graffiti, and then they even bastardized the piano black trim and painted it. I'm sorry if that appeals to someone, but that to me screams tacky!!

Now if I could pick that up for $50k new, I'd consider getting the bumpers painted (or wrapping the car if that was my thing) and getting some nice trim from IND.

One thing that seems odd about this car (other than the jarringly obvious) is the back seats don't match the front seats at all.

Pretty much every 'special addition' on this special edition make you wonder how ANYONE ever thought 'yah, this is a great idea'.

I got a laugh out of the comparison between the car in the promos, and the one at the dealership. They should call this the 'phoning it in' edition - looks like he got totally sick of it and did the bare minimum by the 2nd or 3rd car (please let there only be a handful of these atrocities). And less is more in this case. But if you want "the ultimate collector item" to keep locked in a garage, waiting to appreciate, this is it - just make sure to put a car cover over it in case there are impressionable youngsters about.

And I will gladly swap my stock wheels for 763's as a gesture of aesthetic compassion.
