Finally got a production number and Week 13 build week which is March 21st. Do they ever happen sooner? Planning on a PCD whenever I can schedule it. I wish there was a way to get notifications as it progressed through each of the stages so you don't have to keep going back to check every day to see if I've moved on to the next dot.

As many of you may know from all of my posts, I really wanted Laguna Seca blue, but it was denied. I was going to go Portimao, but decided to spend the extra for custom Enzian Blue. I'm hoping it looks as good when I finally see it in person as it does in pictures and Youtube videos. It's kind of in the same family as the YMB M4's that I had. I bet some of my work type acquaintances don't even realize I got a new car since they all knew and loved my previous blue car.

Specs
M4 Competition
Enzian Blue custom color ($4,500)
825M Bi-color wheels - I like the extra pop and contrast of these wheels with the blue
Extended Black Leather on regular seats - I didn't want to spend the money on the CF seats or deal with the extra challenge of ingress/egress for a daily driver
Aluminum Tetragon - considered the CF, but decided not to spend the extra $950 on it. Hopefully the Aluminum looks nice. (trim pic is from an M440)
Parking Assistance Package - once you have the car parallel park for you it's hard to go back.
Executive Package - Don't care about remote start or gesture control, but can't pass the HUD, laser lights and heated wheel and power trunk are nice.

@snareman one thing to flag with carbon fiber is it comes with the bigger (and cooler) shift paddles.... might be enough to push you over the edge

Interesting. Just looked. I didn't realize they were bigger. The CF does look cooler, although as far as the shifters goes I pretty much ignore them so I'm ok having smaller ones. I do like the look of the CF on the steering wheel and console though.

@snareman yes they do move up and down build week. Originally scheduled for week 10, went down 7, went back to 9 & ended up getting vin yesterday which falls under week 7. Also plus 2 on the carbon fiber interior trim, seen it in person, and they look amazing, for the price it's a must have imo.

About your week question, yes there are some earlier, my M4C has scheduled production for week 10

And I agree with others on the carbon interior trim, transforms the inside quite a lot, especially the steering wheel.

Not sure if I have the pronunciation of that color quite right, but you could say:

"Look at my Enzian Blue!"

And see if you can get people to respond:

"Whoa, your engine blew on a brand new car!"

(Sorry for dad joke - back to topic - car is going to look amazing in that color. )

Hopefully my week get moved up a bit. I asked about change to the CF interior trim, but was told that once my custom color was accepted that they couldn't make any more changes. So I guess aluminum it is.

Nice & unique spec! From the pics it looks like you got the exterior CF package too but you didn't list it

I would've picked the CF interior trim but since you have a black interior I think aluminum will provide a nice contrast

Yea, saw that. I didn't get the CF exterior though. I spent a ton of my money on CF stuff on my last M4, but decided not to spend it on this one since I was already blowing $4500 for the paint. It was just on the individualizer website

I stopped by the dealer tonight to check out the aluminum trim. It's kind of a darker overall look with the way it's designed as opposed to a bright solid aluminum so I think it'll be ok.
