Hello guys,
I want to change the car displayed on the idrive (id6- nbt evo), my i-step is 20-07-560,
the car is a 2017 G30, car came with standard bumpers so I retrofitted the m pack, now I'd like to change the graphic to match the car.
I tried to code hu_nbt2 -> baureihe from G30 to F90, it crashed the screen.
Tried hu_nbt2 -> bauart which has choices of coupe, cabrio, compact, limousine, sicherheitsfahrzeug, touring, sports_activity_tourer, light_protection, and gelaendefahrzeug.... None worked.

Can you guys please help?
Any ideas?

My car is M package but it also has the same standard graphics on iDrive. It is not possible to change package/color on iDrive6 equipped G30s unfortunately.

What about changing to F90?

What about the animations? 360 Surround View 3D image, welcome screen, drive mode changes, DSC screen, EfficientDynamics Screen, etc?? Also images on Cluster and HUD?

2. HU_NBT_EVO -> 3000 HMI -> HMI_Brand to bmw_m

Can anyone tell me what both settings are for? Anyone got a pictures of the first one being modified to F90? Will all settings related to the car in HU be changed from G30 to F90?

Sorry for reviving this topic, but on my 2019 G30 540i, I only see the first option to change via Bimmercode. The HMI_brand can't see it...

If I code just the first one, changing from g30 to F90, the display simply turns black.

Need to revert to G30...

The string you need to modify is under trim_line.

Hi, Need help. BMW G30 530e 2019model

Added carplay by replacing the VIN in HU_NBT2.
It wasnt fullscreen so i uppdated to the latest I-step S15A-25-07-540 via BMW dealer.

Did the entire procces and everything was fine, then i wanted to change the avatar from g30 to f90 and instead of changing the brand from HMI_Brand to BMW_m i changed it to _rr.

I reverted the changes but i lost carplay, spotify connect services and bmw apps.

Tried to reset ECU by:

Load FA
Activate FA
Read ECU
HU_NBT2_63 ----> code

Still no bmw apps

Even tried to code 4A4

Anyone who can shed some light on the issue and if there are a fix to show the bmw apps or should i visit the dealer for a factory reset?

I have saved the FA file after the I-step uppdate but didnt saved the CADF files, still new to E-sys so iam just a noob
