Hey all, thought I'd share pictures from last weekend after seeing the G82 M4 in person.

I can say without a doubt that the car looks fine in person. As a current F82 M4cs owner, I had my doubts if I would like the car after seeing it in pics, but in person there are 3D elements of the design that don't photograph well on a 2D picture, particularly the curve/arc of the grill.

Sao Paolo Yellow is spot on in these pictures from overcast to sunshine, it's definitely a loud color, but fitting of the loud design.

They kept the doors locked, so I couldn't get the best interior photo's with the reflection from the glass, but the seat design on this thing is nice.

BMW must go back to the Power-Dome Hood!

Took these photos under the gorgeous South Carolina sun at the SC Performance Center. SPY is stunning in person, if I lived in Miami, it would be a no brainer to order. The X5M is a dirty Long Beach Blue.

Taken with iPhone 12 Pro Max and most were taken in portrait mode.

Today I was able to see the new M3/M4 in person, and they look absolutely amazing. Just a disclaimer, what I am about to say is highly subjective.

SPY looks really nice. Personally I really like the greenish yellow, very unique color.

All I can say is WOWOWOWOWOWOW! The G82 is beyond amazing and the carbon seats are an absolute must-have. I must say the G80 to me was overall meh and I did not feel was distinguished enough from my F80 to be worthy of an upgrade. More thoughts below and pictures (including bonus photos of the RS6 I managed to FINALLY see in the flesh which was also beyond amazing). What a wonderful day.

Carbon bucket seats are perfect - I did not feel uncomfortable in the slightest; they are nice and snug on me and wrapped really nicely
Carbon seats make ingress/egress more challenging haha (need to work on core)
My crotch had no issues with the little piece on the seat
These cars look WAY better in person; even as I was taking photos while standing there it was crystal clear that they do not photograph well. The cars are beautiful
I have a strong preference for the M4 - the curves are just perfect and the back does not appear to jut out as much as it does in photos; the shape is just so sexy
SPY is gorgeous and eye-catching; I probably wouldn't get it because it feels like it will be too popular but it looks really really good
Rear of the G82 looked pretty spacious I was surprised. Was too excited with the front to get in the back but it looked like a solid amount of space
The standard seats did not feel any lower than my F80 seats did which was disappointing
The carbon seats DID feel lower than my F80 seats which I lovedddd (I'm not sure if standard seats in the G82 are also lower than the G80)
Did I say the cars look amazing
Strong preference for the G82's looks; I feel like the front end of the car just belongs on the G82 because it screams sportscar to me vs. the G80 that is very stately looking
None of the interiors looked good to me; KO was WAY too orange and the blue was not a nice blue (Silverstone will be the way for me)
Rear end of the G82 is very wide
I look forward to LCI taillights on the G82; they are the biggest letdown on the car (the white bits look cheap)

Local dealership got an SPY/Yas Marina M3 delivered today so of course I had to go and check it out right away. It was already sold so didn't get the chance to fire it up or even sit in it but man did I love it. Congrats to whomever is buying it!

a couple of days for PDI I was told. Since dealers here aren't open on Sunday, could be Saturday delivery or next Monday ...

I've only been waiting since end of Sep when I placed the deposit, I will live

I saw SPY in person at the dealership. In person it’s an absolutely gorgeous color. It’s attention grabbing in a good way and fits the lines of the car so well.

Did not think I would like it at all but congrats to those that took a risk on it!

went to see the car today... i guess next week delivery now as PDI is still not done. Was sunny today so the paint looks more yellow under light but the green hue is ever so present. Took these on my S20 Ultra with scene optimizer on, so perhaps colours look a bit more saturated than to naked eyes

Def not similar to more traditional yellows like dakar. Also unfortunately I lost the tire lottery and got Pirelli PZ4s

How were the carbon bucket seats? I ended up adding them to my build after all. Taking a huge chance on them since I have yet to sit in them. I'm 5'8" and 170lbs so I think I should be good according to others with a similar body type that have posted here so far.

ya you read my post in the carbon seats thread already, but I think if it works for me at 6'2 215lb then you are def fine.The leg bolsters are the most confining part and would be a potential issue on road trips I think, but I didn't expect a lexus massage seat to begin with...

Yeah, I could see them feeling a bit confining but I'm hoping for a daily driver it won't be too crazy. I'm typically not in the car for more than 30 minutes at a given time during normal commute, kid drop offs, etc. We now have a Honda Pilot for my wife so that will be the long drive/road trip vehicle of choice for sure.
