Maybe look at fitting the BMW camber adjustment hubs for half a degree more? What problems are you hoping to address?

Word of warning: Camber plates don't work with (some) lowering springs.

However they should work just fine with stock springs. I'd recommend ground control.

I have Ground Control plates with stock suspension. There are a few threads here talking about noise and about problems with tightening the strut nut. I'm ok with the noise (normal per GC's tech page online). Wish there was a solution for the strut nut.

Ive been reading about that. Kinda kills it for me with the GC, as the Noise and clunking would drive me nuts. Sounds like the Bolt doesn't get much purchase on the GC design.

Maybe Vorschlag is better for stock?

If u can confirm that the Vorschlag is free of the strut nut issue, I would give them a go. The noise with GC is manageable. Something breaking loose at speed, not so much.

I ran GC for a year on standard suspension. No noises. Allowed 2.8* of camber and much better tire wear.

If those are M4 GTS top mounts then underside bearing etc is only suited to constant id race springs IIRC.

If you could get adapters to switch from constant to variable id (as per stock/MPS front springs) then these might be novel oem solution to get more camber and caster perhaps....

BP
BP,

It's an image from NewTIS, found when looking up the torque settings and other instructions for fitting the front brace.

But it does look like the item in the photograph from your post on the M3/M4 forum back in November 2017.

The BMW Motorsports top mounts appear to be more like conventional camber plates.

When I had stock suspension I ran Ground Control. Worked well and no appreciable noise.

So BMW says don't use impact tools, Vorschlag says you "MUST". super confusing. im having a hard time understanding why it would be a huge deal if the shock shaft spins a couple times?

Anyone convince me not to follow vorschlags instructions ?

Millway street plates. My settings are -2.5 front, -2 rear with stock camber. Great upgrade. No rattles noise etc.

Is rear camber adjustable to -2 degrees without aftermarket arms?

Sorry -1.5 rear stock. You can go to -2 rear with the BMW Motorsport suspension.

Downside with the Millway plates is on a car with the alloy/carbon strut bracing, to get more than -2.4deg camber requires removal of the alloy brace to access the plate adjustment screws (something I discovered after installing the plates), so not practical if wanting to go between street & track settings.

I believe GC can get around this problem with their extra screw holes.

Is that -2.4deg more than stock or total?
I just ordered these and had no idea about this limitation.

-2.4 total (per wheel of course). Yes there is no mention on their website or in the installation instructions, so everyone fitting these to an F80/82/M2C (or in my case OG F87 with the F80 bracing) with plans to have a street setting for their 'Street' plates & go between that and a track setting is going to be disappointed. You get taken in with the idea of quieter 'Street' plates without knowing they really aren't a practical track camber plate
