i can't set the time and date in the iDrive menu after android head unit

Hi guys,

Yesterday I installed an android screen in my BMW F36 2016. Everything works as intended, the only problem i have is that i can't set the time and date in the iDrive menu.
When I go to settings to change the time and date it let's me enter values but as soon as I close the menu and go back to navigation for example the time and date get set back to '--/--'

Because of this my instrument cluster keeps telling me to set the time.
Someone have an idea what may be the problem?
Thank your for your time!

Did you move the optical cable over? I don't have one of these screens but fairly common issue with the mmi if the cable isn't moved over to the new harness that connects to the HU.
