EXCELLENT!
Thanks for that! Have you fitted it? Since the pipe is downturned, just wondered how it fits over it....??

It's easy as that, just cut off the part that goes down, and replace it by a custom tip
Really much better then that ugly standard pipe, it even fits in the original hole in the bumper. Just had to change the rubber mounting , because there was to much space between it |

Thanks guys. Visited a "muffler shop" (exhaust place!) this morning and they will cut off the end and put on nice chrome tip for approx. £50.....Even though its a lease car I think I'm gonna do it!!

I have also this bad exhaust pipe and I want to change it.
I would like to put the 6 cyl exhaust pipe but I think we must change all exhaust. for philip888, is the cuted off exhaust pipe the same diameter that the exhaust whith particle filter ? is there no problem to fix the chrome exhaust pipe to it? |

I like a lot of 320d owners feel the rear exhaust lets the car down, but now at long last there is an answer!
BMW UK have just released a "Sports rear silencer" for the 320d. It is only available for the 4 cylinder diesel models and the part number is: 18 10 0 398 920. The only down side is the cost, £657.00!!! + fitting. |
