Looks great, congrats! Looking forward to hearing more about the carbon bucket seats and how (un)comfortable they are. I've spec'd them on my build but have yet to even sit in a set...they just look too damn good to pass up!

Hows the turbo lag in low rpm? I hear they shifted the torque from low to high rpms compared to the f80?

My first M3 was between E9X and F8X. I bought the V8 for this exact reason. So, I went on two test drives in the G80. First was a gentle polite ride. Then as I realized I was serious, I took a real ride and punched it through the gears hard. The turbo lag on the F80 and the G80 are very different. There is no lag that I feel in the G80, no feeling of turbos spooling up and hitting. The G80 just pulls harder and harder and keeps going until your either out of road or +145mph. The other thing is the base and comp are exact same engine, just different boost power which is already tunable today with a JBL add on. RKtunes got 516 rwhp on dyno just by using a new mapping.

Yeah I saw that dyno... nuts. Interesting that the lag feeling is not as noticeable compared to the f80. That sounds really good.

Let's be real. Olive green with dog sh*t brown would look good on this car.

The white with blue really does look nice, though.

Car is fantastic. The seats are so insane. 1 hour ride home and very comfortable. They are comparable to the seats in my 2018 M3 as far as cushion and softness. The engine feels like a beast. Break in 1200 miles nothing over 5500 rpm so it’s going to be few weeks. The exhaust sounds much deeper than expected. I’m sure the sound will change a bit after break in so we will see. The steering is noticeably better response than previous model. The carbon brakes feel amazing. Have not gone to fast to see but love the feel of the pedal in full sport modes. The interior overall is huge improvement over 2018. Everything is placed perfect. Amazing car. Everyone at dealer loved the spec I built. I give another update as I go.

100% accurate. I don't get what everyone is saying about turbo lag, they just tuned the power band so it doesn't go nuts every time you hit the throttle. It has more power the delivery is just different. The F8x planned on how it would kill you the next day, the G8x you can reduce you life insurance premium.
