C63 Lease Rates

Talked to a CA at Mercedes:

MSRP: $70,000.
Term: 24 Months.
Down: $15,000.
Cost: $1,083/mo!!!

I don't know what the residual is but that is pretty high.

15 grand down! No way I'd do that! Ever!

Might as well buy it.

you're kidding right...

who puts $15,000 down?

so by my math, in 2 years after $41000 in payments your C63 has lost 58% of its value and you don't even get to keep he car?

that's insane

70k for a C63!!! WTF

my parents are looking for one and they saw a fully loaded one for 64k at the local dealer. and 15k down for a lease is plain stupid. they arent putting anything down. i dont remember the monthly payment but it wasnt near the 1k range. id say it is a damn bargain for the performance

I agree, 15k down is crazy. The market were I live is getting hardly any of them, so they are able to charge MSRP. They sell every car within a few days of getting it.

I think it looks very aggressive.

Exactly what I did too.

Exactly my point, buying it is a much better solution. If it was 0 or 5k down, it would've been much, much more expensive!

P.S. I am not taking this deal, just showing the interesting leases on the C63. The 15k down is definitely not a good idea and it goes to show how expensive this lease is.

24 is on the short side, but that is not a very attractive deal at all.

They could be put in jail for rape with that offer. October lease rates for the C63 are : 24 mo./63% resid. with 15k mi./0.0042MF. Add 2% to resid. for 12k mi/yr. Based on this, paying sticker w/ $15k down the mo. payment should be about $870 mo.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but if that thing was totaled soon after picking it up, you would be out 15K?

Only a retard would put 15k down on a lease.

I just ran the numbers on a 08 M3 coupe and heres what I was offered:

4k total out of pocket due at signing
12k miles per year
36 months @ 830$ a month

No comparision IMO.... C63 fails

Ha ha, not thinking of this deal, I was just interested in what they would offer for the lease since I already checked on the leasing website, but it is set at 10k miles a year

I asked him about this number because I had already looked it up on the leasing website and was going to see what he came up with for such a ridiculous amount down.

I disagree with it failing. The numbers he got from them failed. Heck of a car IMO.

I have seen examples of much more reasonable C63 lease rates though.
