Driving up to NYC

So I'm driving up to NYC tomorrow morning and I would LOVE some tips on how to keep my car in good condition. Such as where I should or shouldn't park to increase my chance of avoiding dents. I even heard you guys got snow?

I know I'm gonna tape up my bumper on a road trip of such distance though

tape up bumper, 1/2 the hood at least, fenders behind the wheels, ur A pillar and so forth, even part of ur roof too if u can. when u tape up start from top to bottom overlapping the tape strips. so they dont come off with air

driving ur car to NYC? lol there's not tips that can help u there buddy. park away from people?

umm avoid potholes of NYC
