Litchfield vs M Performance

Anyone have any experience driving both of these brands. I'm about to pull the trigger on coil-overs and am trying to narrow down which one to choose…

Yes I have run both and running the Nitron's.

M Performance coilovers are not in the same league as the Nitron's.

I guess you'd expect Nitrons to be better given they're more pricey....

MP coilovers recommended height is -20 mm from OEM. But the OEM height is still possible with MP coilovers.

What do Litchfield Nitrons provide in this regard?

Nitron's are worth the £250 over the M Performance for the build quality alone.

So it looks like Nitron of Litchfield is the way to go.

I am considering the Litchfield also. Reading about them, it really appears that they have a great (and comfortable) solution. I am not very familiar with Nitron, but after Googling them they appear to make a solid product. If the Bilstein version of the Litchfield kit were adjustable to OEM ride height, I would probably lean that way, but I have to contend with the Michelin Alpine winter tires, and probably need the extra height when they are mounted.

I've considered the M Performance suspension, primarily for the warranty, but I am looking for a more compliant ride and their are mixed reviews on that with the M Performance.

And, it's tough to argue with a Chris Harris endorsement.

This mirrors my thoughts. The MPS cars I’ve been in feel great, but I want just a little more compliance since our roads in town are horrible.

2400 vs £1850 - Litchfield are £500+ more than oem offering 😉

Ah yes, M Perf have come down in price, reflects their build quality.

Have you seen the latest prices from BMW for replacement parts for the M Perf coilovers? The guy who took my old ones had a damper break, BMW replacement cost for one front damper.....over £800!!! Almost 50% cost of a complete coilover set.

Litchfield appear to sell the springs separately, so you could fit them to other makes of coilover to get the compliance you seek?

Rebuilds are available for far far less for both MPS and Nitron based kit for similar £££, if required and you know where to look/who to talk to 😉

Corner force inspected the front dampers and BOTH had internal damper rod issues. : Will drop you a text.
