All I purchased the official shop manual for the 530E Xdrive and can now share it with anyone interested.

Dropbox link below.

Should remain valid indefinitely and be useful to some of you as the bulk of info is common apart from engine and drive train.

Where did you purchase? I looked for one for the 540i but didn't find one.

eBay there is a seller where you can select you car etc

Absolutely invaluable download. Thank you so much for posting this! This will come in handy down the road, especially since I need to swap my AC compressor when it gets warmer.

It's specific to the 530 as far as engine components, drive train, etc., however if you want to know how to do almost anything (from what I can see) to the chassis, it's there.
