HAHA, haven't had enough I take it? I might be upgrading in the Spring, no reason too right now though since my car will be in the garage all Winter.

I just picked one up this weekend. I should have the JB3 pin-out on after thanksgiving. To much traveling and not enough time to put it on. I'll let you know though how it feels in and around Denver. Plus I do alot of driving up into the mountains as well.. Unfortunately, I70 this year has more cops on it then the mexican border does.. Guess I'm going to have to buy the radar detector next.

Have the Dinan Stage II ECU reflash. Can't say enough about the increase in performance. While it is more $, it has no problems with warranty. Low spool up now is sooo much better than the 1st reflash. Just my opinion

Seems like a good deal.

I am more interested in the new V3, they price out pretty similarly and I like the idea of being able to adjust some of the tune parameters for our altitude to take some of the load off the turbos. Plus some of the features to neutralize 29.2 and beyond should it ever get loaded on my car.

SID, shouldn't you be more concerned about knocking that ticket down rather than something else that will make you wanna go faster

Supposedly they are making a high altitude map for the JB3, hopefully that will be coming out soon. For now its recommended that you use the low boost map on the JB3, which required you getting the map switch. The new revision (1.2) will allow you to switch maps with the car off using the gas pedal though.

Couldn't agree more. I keep looking at getting a Nissan GTR or MB SL550, but the Dinan upgrades boost performance to the point that the other cars cannnot justify the tradeoff either in dollars or driveability.

335xi + Dinan = perfect balance of performance, luxury, daily drive function, comfort.

I wish I understood more of this. I have one goal for my car, for it to be fast as hell.

So, for you fellow JB3'rs out there, have any of you updated to V1.3? If so, how do you like it? Does anybody already have a chip burner or am I going to have to take one for the team and buy it?

At first I was hesitant to update but ive been getting limp mode alot lately so I am wondering if V1.3 might be able to change that. It probably wont matter because I dont really think that my tune is the problem anyway.

FWIW, we carry all the Burger products, including the JB3. I can have a PnP unit here in 2-3 days, and we install the PnPs for FREE!

Burned latest JB3 (1.4 BETA_9A7_R83.HEX) and had it on map 3 while driving up to Copper. On the way back went into limp mode. Changed it to default the rest of the way. Using map 2 as daily driver. No other supporting mods. Probably need to re-install single cone intake.

1.4? Whats different from 1.3 on the 1.4? Have you been having any other limp mode problems?

Mine is getting shipped out today and arriving tomorrow. Install will be as soon as I get. I can update you and let you know how it goes. Installed one on my buddy's e90 335xi and he's having a blast without any issues. He says the more it adapted, the faster it got!

No previous limp mode problems. 1.4 is new beta maps for JB3. You can burn existing chip and update your JB3.

What kind of performance(1/4mile ET,Trap) can be expected from an auto trans 335xi with JB3 above 5-6k ft of altutide? (And no other supporting mods)
