To M3 or not to M3.

OK so it is my understanding that now may be the best possible time to purchase an M3. From what I've been reading, BMW is giving killer discounts right now. So here is my dilema.

I've got a 2007 E92 Black with black leather, sport package and 230's with 7500km.

I've also got a ton of mods.

Should I: a) part out the mods and trade in my 335 or an M3?

or

b) Keep the 335 and be happy with what I have?

Well i was in the exact same situation and chose to get the M.
I put my 2007 E92 335 on leasebusters and got rid of it in 3 weeks.
I had many mods on it as well and got rid of it with all the Mods. The buyer gave me some money...
Got myself a E93 M3 and i couldn't be happier. If your gonna do it though you better act fast because they're won't be any M's left very soon.
And i got a ridiculous deal on the M3.
Basically paying 100$ more a month on a lease for a E93 M3 then what i was paying for my 335.
You'll probably get a better deal on a E93 M3 then a E92 M3 since the incentives for the Cabs are better.
DO it and DO it fast. I promise you won't regret it.

I already emailed the Sales rep over at BMW Mississauga. Let's see what he has to say.

I own my 335 right out. So I will have to trade in my 335.

You should try Jeff Peters at Sarnia Fine Cars.
He's the Manager there and he's a great guy. Definitely will give you the best price around. And i spoke to literally every single dealer in Canada.

Finding a buyer shouldn't be a problem. Or am I better off doing a trade in with the dealer?

What dealer did you buy yours from and what did you pay? I don't see 1% financing available for the M3 anymore.

Tell him Youval reffered you and he'll take care of you.
Thanks for the referral. Sarnia is so far away. Prefer to deal with a local dealer.

Bought mine from Town and Country in Markham; they had 1 red 08 left in inventory last week. The service is fantastic there...I bought my 335 from Parkview and the sales guys were wankers!

If you own your 335 you may have hope for the trade...if it is leased, forget it...BMW finance will give it to you in the hoop

He offered to drive the car down for me to Toronto from Sarnia.
And he will surely do the same for you.
Trust me it's worth a shot to call him. You will save lots of money.
I dealt with every dealer in the country and he beat them all by a mile.
Including Town and Country Bmw.

Yea a part of me agrees with you, but there is a part of me that always wanted an M3. For as long as I can remember. With BMW hurting badly right now, now is probably the best opportunity to negotitate the greatest possible discounts and finance rates.

My 335 has an SSTT and I agree, it is prettier to look at.

My car is finance and it is only 10 months old. In other words, I still owe BMW money. The dealership offered me $42000 for my 08 335i Coupe, with all the discounts that they offered, the new 60 months payment is $1641 per month taxed in.

Do you guys think it is a good deal for a new 2008 M3? or should I have rooms to negotiate?

Just got back from the dealer. I counted about 8 or 9 M3 coupes sitting on the lot. In fact, the one I test drove, hardly started because it was sitting for so long. There is no shortage of M3's out there, trust me. The Sales rep also said they won't ordering any 09's until all the 08's are gone.

I think the longer I wait, the cheaper they will go. I wonder what dealer cost is on one?

The 335 is nice but it will never be an //M. I test drove the 335 when it was out and I didn't like it at all. The power is there compared to my 04 330Ci ZHP but the car just feel kind of floating when I was on the highway. The interior also felt kind of cheap but all these things were probably debated to death. Anyway my thought is that I would feel happy with a 335 but if I see an M3 pass by I'll always think what if I have one of those would I enjoy it more
I went from a 330Ci to a e46 M3 to my current car.

Nope. Dealer wouldn't budge much on price. So let them sit on it. On top of it, they offered $39K for my car on a trade it, which is a total insult. I'll stick with my 335.
