Question Catback w/ turbo spooldown sound yet not too loud

Hi,

I have aftermarket twins & downpipes, and am looking to replace my OEM catback with an exhaust that produces a turbo "spool down" sound when driving, similar to this video.

The VRSF Race sounds like what I'm looking for, but I fear it's too loud. Would a resonator quiet it down enough so that normal driving is not obnoxious/police magnet BUT still maintain similar spooldown sound?

I'm not necessarily set on VRSF - I'm open to anything that produces what I'm looking for.

Thanks in advance

The vrsf race exhaust is too loud so I put a vibrant resonator and it's perfect now. It pops and has turbo noises but quiet when you want it to be

I'm still on stock twins but upgraded twins would sound even way better

Thanks for the response. So driving normally, soft throttle etc. it's not obnoxious / pull-you-over loud?

Do you have a sample vid or audio?

its not obnoxious if you put a resonator on it but its NOT quiet any way you drive it. If you want it quiet while driving normally go for the street vrsf not the race, id still add a resonator even with the street exhaust.

I'm fine that it's not silent, I just don't want to be cruising at 35 mph yet sound like I'm WOT, 52 PSI, straight pipe exhaust out-of-the-hood loud. Would two stacked resonators defeat performance gain / numb down sound too much?

Car is factory arrest-me-red colored, but looks bone stock to most trained and untrained eyes, so I can probably get away with more decibels than say a hulk green car with 4.5 inch tips and an aggressive body kit. Nothing inherently wrong with with the latter, it's just that police are literally looking for a reason to pull you over at that point.

I'd love the race, as long as I can drive at 2 - 2.8k RPM without being a jerk.

Yea I have an old YouTube video

When cruising it's not loud. For me it's the perfect exhaust for the money

Soooo, what I'm hearing is that I'll invoice you for any potential violations? Sounds naughty.

Lol I am not responsible

I'm not sure if you've seen this video but it'll help you out if you decide to do it. You don't have to weld resonator, you can use 3.5 ID to 3.5 OD exhaust clamps
