I had a bump in my car and damaged one of the sensors. I’ve now got the park assist error please park unaided message. I’ve changed the damaged sensor and cleared any DTC’s with bimmerlink and my obd dongle but i still can’t get the parking sensors to work.

Is there a reset procedure you need to clear the error message. That bimmerlink cant’t clear?

Can bimmerlink read the fault code? I had a short on the wiring from one sensor and it knocked them all out with same fault. Ista told me exactly which sensor it was affected.

Couldn’t see any faults just cleared all the modules. May be worth taking a look at the loom.
