Anyone use steam to clean their leather seats?
Just thought I would share with you guys how to use a steamer for your vehicle especially the interior. I myself have not tried it out yet but will on the 29th with my car. Will post pics and let you know!
http://gobestimpression.com/videos-2008-3.htm Started a thread on this webpage too: http://www.detailingbliss.com/forum/...ther-6563.html And many of them say it is the best way to clean the interior of a vehicle. I did try my clothes steamer in a previous thread and that helped tremendously in removing smells and lifting up dirt. But on leather I have not tried yet. I will get back to you guys ASAP!

Yep, been using steam to clean leather since I got my steamer, seeing how it works on badly soiled seats is great. You can make the leather look like brand new. Just be careful not to apply too much heat in one spot because it definitely can take the coloring off.

http://www.steam-cleaners-direct.com/ I could not be more happy with my purchase, it works excellent and it is reasonably priced. An autopia user who has a shop has two of these that they use daily and said he hasn't had any problems, seeing as how I use mine a couple times a week at most it should last me a long time.

I rarely use my steamer. For me, in most cases, its just as easy to use a horse hair brush and a leather cleaner. Lugging my steamer around, especially on mobile jobs, can be a pain in the butt. It does work though. Be careful, incorrect use can warp leather. I warped my mom's leather patio chairs with too much pressure and a trangle attachment.
