Well, there's a first for everything. Like an ugly girl getting asked out to the prom by the star quarterback, I got stood up. Showed up at 7:40AM and waited until 8:10 and nobody showed up. Thankfully I invited a buddy last night who did show up, but would have appreciated an update if you all were not planning to go anymore.

I had some family commitments that morning, maybe I'll make the next one!

On a serious note, we went on a midnight drive up SGR that Friday night 1/28 and saw an overturned what looked like a BMW i8 in a very similar fashion. Probably snap oversteered into the right side of the mountain and ended up on the roof on the right shoulder. Emergency vehicles were already on the way up, and plenty of other cars were already there helping out, so we didn't want to create more traffic by sticking around.

Hopefully everyone ended up no worse than that guy in the E36 with a bruised ego and a large insurance claim.

On a LESS serious note, if anyone wants to do a night SGR run and do a group night photo similar to the one I did last week, I'm down!

Yeah the guy was fine but that helicopter ride cost him maybe $30k. How late are your midnight runs?

Oh damn... I never thought of that heli ride. I would have begged someone to drive me down at that point!

We start at the base of SGR around 9 or 10 and at the top in 30 minutes or so. "Midnight" sounds cooler lol.
