I had it last week and caught it, ironically, when I was in the South of France 10 days ago for a funeral for someone who died of Covid. There's still a strong anti-vax mentality down there.
Anyway yes, headaches / muscle aches / shivers / feeling cold were the main symptoms. Didn't feel well at all, but not bed-ridden. Now have a lingering persistent cough, just like the first time.

I seem to have been rather lucky so far. I had to go to Ireland for work a couple of weeks ago and the day I got out there my wife told me my youngest son had tested positive. I kept doing tests for the week I was out there but I was negative.
To make it even worse/weirder my friend/colleague who came with me (I drove and got the ferry because I can't be bothered with airports at the moment) had exactly the same situation and he tested negative every day while his wife and two kids gradually felt worse. A convenient escape for us both Although to be fair my wife somehow never caught it either, despite being around my youngest all the time. |

Same here - lots of the symptoms, mostly just very tired and a bit of a cough, but have never tested positive. I'm the Lance Armstrong of COVID testing....
Mrs BT had it just after Christmas, and is still getting headaches, sore ears, generally exhausted & achy. There are so many other germs doing the rounds it's entirely possible "it's only a cold" I've picked up from the grandkids. |

Also tired but I think that may just be age and a bit of SAD, feel so much better when we get some sun and warmth! Or maybe its just being stupidly busy at work.... partly because people are off sick! |

This time of year makes me want to eat shite and sleep. Or is that eat, shite and sleep…? Apparently January in Scotland this year had the least sunlight on record. I know it’s not down to VitB as you don’t get any at this time of year, but blue sky and bright light, and being able to get outdoors makes a massive difference to mood. We’ve been wild swimming right through the winter, and the combination of blue & green (ish) space has been a real boost. |

I worked nights a few times many many moons ago and I bloody hated it. Messes up your circadian rhythm something horrible. Much worse in winter as you rightly say. |

I'm still testing negative, despite being around my parents who are both positive. Feeling really rough too, pretty sure it is covid.
