Shamzie, I can give you some random phone numbers to call?

I may as well stick 'NWS' on this thread now, I suppose.

Why don't you encode those track-day videos you made a wee while back, and get them uploaded to YouTube ?

You fixed your laptop yet ?

My laptop is broke, cant even find the thread that i mentioned about it dying in. So i dont know what advice has been offered?

Id love to upload the vids, will have to get some one else to do em for me.

I want to load up the one of a pod race with vxr8 aswell.

Use the proper vid camera and they stuck on dvd's. Do em on my little camera i can stick chip in Laptop and load em up. But that cant record for long though thats why didnt use it for track days.

Where is the footage you took - and what format is it in ?

DVD cameras are not much good at handling vibrations when mounted rigidly to the car

Can you view them in your PC directly from the small DVDs ?

Then it is possible to rip them to your PC (and they will be in a new format) - I take it you are using another PC in the house at the moment. Is it a new one ? What version of windows ?

Once ripped to your PC, you can cut out the bits you need and upload them.

Is it your Dad's main laptop - critical for his work ?

What ending did the ripped files have, and how did you rip them ?

That's right I think we did it before and they ended in .vob ?

Best not monkey about with your dad's laptop ... but when you get your laptop up and running I'll show you how.
