Seen a lovely F32
Looking at swapping to a (Late) 2019 F32 440i in Mineral Grey and considering a swap from my EB 340i.
Love my 340 but it has fairly low spec - 18's, no HK stereo, standard multimedia, silver (M sport) but not painted Blue calipers.. The F32 has all the goodies and is good money (as mine is too in the current cliamate) One questiopn that has been bugging me though.. The F32 has LED Lights according to the lens, but it has those eyeball type inner lenses not at all like the LED (Non Adaptive) on my current F30. Do LED's still have those? As i thought they were more for Xenons or am i just wrong? I thought all 4's cam with LED's? Ive looked accross the whle forum and any pics i can find are just of the LED's under like a shade at the top. Thanks guys. |

LCI 4 series baseline had projector beam LEDs, with the option to adaptive reflector-based Icon LEDs. I think it was the only model to have that, not sure why but it was.
The inner projector is actually a fake, because the outer projector is a Bi-LED set up (just like a bi-xenon of Pre-LCI). The inner fake is there to just support the corona ring designs. IMO, the projector beam LED is superior to reflector LED even if it may not be adaptive. |

It just threw me as on my 340 in the VIN info it shows as LED headlights as well as LED fogs. |

However, looking through this old LCI announcement, which seems to cover it globally, it mentions this: https://f30.bimmerpost.com/forums/sh....php?t=1344265 Quote:

There ya go.
It haS a little orange peel on the bottom of drivers door I guess from a bad scratch repair. I've asked them to sort it out so am going to have another look today, also it has grumbling brake disks but it has been stood a while. Only other thing that concerns me is the turbo is quite a lot noisier than my current 340, nine onl has 11k on the clock and this has 10k so I'm sure it's fine and is just perhaps down to the dynamics being different on this car. What do you guys think? Last edited by Speedytriple; 07-02-2022 at 06:21 AM.. Reason: Forgot to add the photo |

Turned it down chaps..
Upon further investigation all the pain was off the nuts holding the wings on, strange bits of paint everywhere.. Basically it just didn't feel right. The wings had obviously been off and have to ask why. Cheers. |

Cheers fella.
I'm not to bothered TBH it'll be hard to find one as mint as my existing F30 340i so I may just throw a few pennies at mine and keep it. Maybe a set of 792m wheels (reckon they'd look really good on an F30. Has anyone done it and got pics) Perhaps a more fruity exhaust and small spoiler. Reckon that would scratch the itch. for a bit! |
