Noob question - water ingress rear HK speaker pod
Hi
Test drove a 2 series 220i convertible petrol auto with HK sound system. Its a convertible in the UK so always fearful of water ingress. Car had been prepared and jet washed within an inch of its life and it had been given a good soaking. Noticed the rear speakers were not working - wondered if it was a setting. Taking a look around there was a little dribble of water from the bottom of the rear small speaker in the side panel passenger side (there are two speakers one small up higher and one medium sized). I assume the jet washing didn't help. Could it be blocked drains? I have asked for an explanation and an agreement any water/sound system repairs are covered for 12 months. Any pro advice welcome. Thanks pod |

Howdy
Good to hear. Don't forget this car has had some 'preparation' i.e. a youth with earphones jet washing the living daylights out of the vehicle. |
