E90 Angel Eyes/Installation
Is there any Angel Eyes product for the E90 (06-08), that does not require to open the light housing to install? I think the Predator Angle eyes can be installed that way, not sure.
I want to do this mod but know for a fact that I'll get condensation on the lights and would rather avoid that. GDR

I use the MyCarr Ice and you dont have to open the headlight housing but you do have to remove the bumper and headlight to get them in. These basically just replace the bulb with LED bulbs and not the Angel eye ring itself.
EDIT* This is if you are upgraded already existing Angel eyes and not adding them |

Almost impossible to get the housings open without destroying them on an E90. If you don't have the angel eyes already, you have to get a set that has them. If you already have angel eyes, it's a pretty straightforward, simple, and safe procedure for most of the upgrades.

For the MyCarr ICE Kit we carry, you do not have to open the headlight. It installs right through the back of the housing and bolts into the factory location.

Has anyone who has installed mycarr angel eyes had condensation problems?
I have seen pics of the several brands, LUX, Predator, etc. How do these compare in brightness? Thanks for the help guys... GDR

Let me clear it up. On the E90 you cannot install after market angel eyes (the rings) without the high risk of breaking/damaging the headlights. Now if your car has the OEM angel eyes then you can buy the MyCarr Ice kit which include LED units to make your angel eyes brighter as well as change them from yellow to white.

Does this apply to '09 LCI E90s as well or are they different? I thought I read differing responses that LCI E90s are like E92s with regards to the angel eyes.

the LUX E90 V5.1 angel eyes are a great choice for your car. We have a step by step install guide on our website under the product section that you can reference on how to install them
